Need transplanting help

I've sold my house and bought another one---so how/when should I move my clematises??? I have seven, and I really don't want to lose any.

when transplanting any plant it is very important not to damage the roots and as much as possible try living some soil on the roots. Its best to transplant before the new season comes and the soil is not frozen.

I would delay until fall if possible.

Hard prune the vines before digging them up. Make sure you keep them well watered in their new homes.
