Spare Spot In The Garden (Idea With Questions)

Hi everyone,

So next month, we're going to move the butterfly bush into a different area of the yard. Which means, I'll have a spot for a new plant :). I was thinking of trying Sweet Autumn Clematis again and have my pap build me a sturdy wooden trellis (made of 2 x 2 posts with strips of lath nailed to it. Or maybe something a little sturdier for this vine?). Here is a picture of the butterfly bush before we planted it. It gets full sun, but the soil is very hard to dig since there are lots of rocks here. Do you think it will do well here?
