I planted a jackmanii in the spring; it is growing well but hasn't flowered. Thanks to feedback from this forum I am confident that it will in a year or two. Meanwhile I want to plant a second type in the same area--I am trying to cover a large pole, and I love the effect of two colors intertwined. Should I plant in the fall or wait until spring? If I plant in the fall, when should I do it? And how far apart does it need to be from the jackmanii? Thank you.
