With a simple sketch, basic tools and the right plants, you’ll be on your way to growing your first flowers or edibles
Full StoryMy two clematis plants are new this summer. I am also new to clematis. I'm not sure what types I have. One is in totally full sun and the leaves are brown and drying up, but part of the plant is still fine and even has a flower. The other plant is in only part sun. Mysteriously, since I believe clematis is one of those plants that supposedly likes full sun, this plant is healthier looking. The leaves are nice and green but there are no flowers. But since this is their first year, I wasn't expecting much.
What do I do with them come fall? I've read people mentioning pruning. Do I have to do this yet, or only when the plants get older?
