Hi, it has been a rainy cooler than normal summer here until mid August when we got two to three weeks of 90 degree weather ( and more rain!) . in most of the garden this has been ok, but today I have three Clems with deformed blossoms.
The clematis affected are Claire de Lune, Daniel Deronda, and the President. They are in three different places in my gardens and they were all fine in the spring.
Does anyone know what would cause this? Is it just the strange weather and fall coming on, or something else?
