This clematis bloomed for the first time this year starting in August. I must have gotten it as NOID as I have not seen a clematis with these markings. It has lots of blossoms with various amounts of markings. Any idea what it might be?

It looks a lot like Tie Dye, except the color's wrong :-) I've not seen one with this type of marking either (except for T-D). The closest I can come otherwise is Barbara Ann's Lace.

It's very attractive!

Thanks, gardengal. My thinking was along the same lines. I also think it is a very lovely bloom.
