I have several clematis seeds and really do not know what to do. I am located in SE Georgia and was wondering if by starting from seed would be worth while or should I just purchase some? Looking to hear from you. Thankns.

RE: Help

Many folks find growing clematis from seed a very rewarding experience:-) For one, you're never sure exactly what you may produce, as seeds from hybrid plants may (and very likely will) produce something entirely new and different. Who knows......you could be the one to introduce some incredible new clematis to the world!

Brain Collingwood has an exceptional and very detailed website outlining his experience in growing clematis from seed. It is certainly worth reading and studying - what he doesn't know about growing these plants from seed is probably not worth knowing :-)

Here is a link that might be useful: Brian Collingwood - growing clematis from seed
