Trying To Find A Sweet Autumn Clematis

Posted by moonwolf Z6 Central PA (My Page) on

Hi everyone,

Has anyone seen sweet autumn clematis for sale at Lowe's or HD? The nearest ones near me are 40 minutes away and I can't drive so I have to rely on my parents/neighbors for transportation. I was going to go to a local nursery but it looks like that's out for this weekend. I looked everywhere online but it looks expensive with the shipping. *sigh* Maybe next year.....

Thank you in advance,

They've reseeded in the wild in Pennsylvania and similar warmer zones. I wonder if they might not be available anymore as a result.

My partner's parents live in Allentown and I see dozens on them on the edges for forested areas every time I visit.

Michael, thanks! I'll be sure to keep it weeded because
I got an unexpected gift today! My one neighbor (from MD, her and her family come up on the weekends) went to town today and bought me a SAC! Whoo-hoo! It has seeds on it and they've fallen off mostly from me untangling it from the little trellis.

I just bought one at the local HyVee store. They've been $24.00 until we had a light frost, and they finally dropped them to $5.00, so I got it.
