The two on the right and left are C.armandii cultivars. Could be 'Appleblossom' (pink) or 'Snowdrift' (white) they are the two most commonly available.

The one in the middle is a C. cartmanni cultivar. Could be 'Avalanche' or 'Joe' they are the most commonly available.

OK, you are fast! I am repotting them right now and a tag fell out of the middle pot - Early Sensation? What do you think? Thanks!

Had to look it up, never heard of it but it looks very similar to 'Avalanche' If that is what it is tagged that is probably what it is....

Nope, the one on the right is an armandii. Those long leaves are not mistakable. I happen to have both 'Avalanche' and 'Appleblossom' myself.

There is no comparison between C. cartmanni 'Avalanche' and C.armandii 'Snowdrift' or 'Appleblossom' which are identical except for bloom color.

That tag is wrong for that plant though it could be the tag for the center plant.

I should have said there is no comparison in the foliage between armandii and cartmanii except they are evergreen.

You have two tags that match the foliage on the center plant.

I agree totally with BorS - the two exterior plants are both Clematis armandii. That foliage is unmistakable. The center one is some selection of C. x cartmanii - 'Avalanche', 'Early Sensation', 'Joe' or 'White Abundance' are all possibilities and are all pretty much interchangeable in appearance.

It is not at all unusual for plants to be tagged incorrectly by the grower or the nursery.
