I finally posted some of my clematis garden pics from this past spring 2011. They are all of Vyvyan Pennel- she's growing through a Dog Wood Tree.

| Very nice! Do the tree and VP seem pretty well balanced as far as size? Is the white flower a peony? |

| She looks very nice. Your dogwood looks like it has iron chlorosis :)Needs soil acidifying fertilizer that includes chelated iron |

| Very nice, thanks for posting! Due to the degree of winter cold generally experienced here, I cannot successfully grow VP ... though, the somewhat similar types capable of blooming double on new wood such as 'Kiri Te Kanawa' and 'Franziska Marie' are well suited for my zone 3. 'Kiri Te Kanawa'
