The flower that produced the pod was a standard orange. Other pods on the same plant were normal sized.

I started with one clivia about 20 years ago, and have 3rd/4th generation from that one orange plant. Some of the progeny from that plant show interesting variations in flower color, some with almost yellow flowers tipped with orange. Has anyone had similar results?

Just curious, was that from division or growing from seed? Seed, I assume.

I am just lurking on the forum today :) My 3+ year old Clivia has never bloomed, and was blooming when I bought it. Some good tips here I will try this fall!

Last call--anyone want seeds? I guess I'm becoming the 'clivia guy' in my area: my sister's friend just gave me a clivia pod, so I have even more to give out now--all orange.
