Yellow spots on clivia leaves

Posted by greendale 6B (My Page) on

I just bought this clivia from a local nursery, it is the only one in their store. it has some yellow spots on the leaves , it is very pot bounded, almost no soil in the pot, I repotted it into the gritty mix and cut some long roots off, what might cause the yellow spots and should I worry about it? Any tips are appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Looks like it could use some fertilizer and some trace elements.

There are numerous things that could cause the spots, but I agree with Leafhead the plant needs some TLC. More light (not too much) and a good fertilizer.
