After blooming

Did a search but could not find anything but I am sure this has been asked before. What do I do with the flower scape/spike after blooming is done? Should I cut it back or keep it on and let it die back naturally? Thanks in advance for your help!

RE: After blooming

Hi nixonk,
Unless you have seed pods on the stalk, I would let it die back itself. If you choose to cut it, have a towel handy lol as it will leek fluid where you've cut it.
