I have a new Clivia in my shade garden. I have it in a container, so it will be easily moved. However, in the short 2 weeks it's been here, I've lost a lot of leaves. They are turning mushy. What am I doing wrong?

Any help will be greatly appreciated, since I am always looking for fun flowering plants for my shade garden.
