 o
flowers at last!

I have been growing clivias for about 15 years now. None have ever flowered very well, by that I mean the flowers stalk has never come of the leaves. Imagine my surprise when I went into the sunroom yesterday and saw this:
Clivia

This is the tallest flower stalk I have ever had. Maybe I should just ignore it more often! Marg

haha nice!

DEFINITELY ignore it but ignore it the right way.

During the late fall and winter months put it somewhere cold (40-50) and water it maybe once every 3 months. That causes the flower stalks to lengthen quite a bit.
