It's nice to see a new forum up, especially for these beautiful plants. I received a division from a family member several years ago and after the roots filled the pot it has bloomed faithfully ever since. I grow my Clivia as houseplant in a ENE window in Yellowknife, NWT, Canada. I grow mine relatively dry especially in the winter (when I receive very little natural light) in a mix of potting soil, sand and fine gravel. As my plant usually flowers in May I also harvest last years seeds at that time (my policy is to propigate everything I can). Now that I've seen some of the varieties grown I'd like to try a yellow flowered or a polypoid plant. I'll try to post a picture of my fairly standard Civia miniata later.
