After 2 long years this is what you can expect out of seedlings. These were imported from Kwa Zulu Natal Clivia club South Africa in August 2007. These Clivia are all grown for their flower color and forms. There is a lot of patience involved in growing Clivia. Most of these plants are at least 2-3 yrs or more off from their first flower. The first flowering is not always representative of the eventual color or form. Most serious enthusiasts grow the plants to maturity and evaluate them over a number of seasons before selling off those that don't fit into their breeding programs or expectations.
