Sparrow is another Chinese Clivia the tips of the leaves are pointed like a Sparrow's Beak. This is high grade based on the 10 standards of appreciation for Chinese Clivia.

RE: High Grade Variegated Sparrow

This is not a Sparrow Clivia. I since learned that the supplier made a mistake in the listing and this is an average quality Chinese with good variegations. Sparrow is a very dwarf plant with pointed leaf tips like a sparrow's beak. I just assumed the seller was correct in the listing and that there was a long leaf sparrow but all the sparrow are compact plants ad this plant has no sparrow genes in it. Sorry about the confusion.

Dr. Craig, can you come on board and ID this beauty?

Hi Kay,

To me it is a decent variegated plant. I can't do any better than that. Thanks for posting pictures.
