Is there anyone who can give information on keeping tract of clivia culturing (just off the top of my head - propagation (seed, vegetative), plant numbering, species, growth, tagging, etc). Would it be possible to do this in an excel spreadsheet. I am about to start with my clivia journey, and would like to keep good records)

I'm wondering if a database format might be more useful. After all - you'll be wanting to keep track for a number of years - particularly if you're planning to create and follow a 'bloodline'. It helps to do the planning on paper first so you get enough fields installed - and can cross-reference. If it won't work on paper - "you're doomed!" - usually when you have heaps of data. Suggest you also ask on the Orchid forum - they follow their grexes and crosses avidly - and have pedigree lists to make a dog breeder dribble with envy!

Thank you vetivert8, I will enquire about it on the Orchid forum.
