| I can only tell you how it is in my urban community garden. Plot size varies, but is more or less 10'x 15'. Membership dues (which includes the plot and water) is $10.00 per year. Responsibilities include showing up for monthly meetings and monthly garden clean ups, keeping plot and surrounding pathways weed-free, and filling water barrels a few times during the growing season.
