What do people do about pesticide drift in community gardens? Do you ever worry if that extra heavy dew you find on the greens is actually pyrethrin (or worse) that drifted past the neighbor's tomatoes a few minutes earlier? My town's gardens only allow organic pest controls now, but even many organic pesticides have reentry restrictions in the 12-24 hour range. I don't know any with preharvest restrictions, but there's a lot I don't know.

Time to help this one go away.

My community garden is anything goes and I do worry about pesticide drift. The one neighbor that worries me the most I just stay away from that area, mulch it in real well and wash the berries. I guess I agreed to anarchy and I am willing to live with its consiquences. Tracy
