There is talk of reviving the master gardener program in Philadelphia. This is a program where the county extension office gives a 36 hour training course which leads to certification as a master gardener. The course itself is free but anyone taking it has to donate 50 hours a year to community projects. If any one is interested. please contact me at andersondma@aol.com
