Vegetable plants in Denver - Where to buy?

Since I moved here from Michigan, I don't know where to go to get the veggie plants for my garden. In Michigan we went to the Eastern Market - a huge outdoor market with extraordinatily cheap prices. Anything like that in Colorado???

Hi Moxiemarlo. I also moved from MI to Denver recently & found myself very disappointed looking for veggie plants at a decent price and health. Personally I frown upon the Home Depot selection. Anyhow, if I'm not starting veggie seedlings from seed, I usually get my seedlings from Ann Arbor's farmer's market. Luckily I had my U-haul 1/3 full of my plant prior to moving to Denver :)

At this time, your best bet is to get plants at a nursery called "Groundcovers" believe off of Illiff St. or Country Farm?? (don't remember the name) both are in the Denver area off Colorado blvd. Hope that helps a bit.

I realize this is a little late, but I recommend Paulino Gardens - just North of Denver.

Here is a link that might be useful: Paulino Gardens

You can go to O'Tools in the Denver area and Echter's in Arvada http://www.echters.com/
might help out next year
