Chicago Community Garden?

I'll be attending Loyola University Chicago next year and I'm not from the area, so I was wondering if anyone knows of any community gardens in the area. At home I have plenty of room, but I'll be living in a dorm for the next two years, so I'm looking to join a community garden. Any advice on how to locate one, or if you know of one in the area would be very helpful!

| Hi Chicago Kale, I'm out in the western suburbs of Chicago. I do know that Chicago has community gardens. They are run by the Chicago Park District. You need to talk to them. If you have a problem get back to me and I'll see what I can find out. LoreD |
