I would like to grow veggies in it. so a hoophouse that size how many people could share? what kind of veggies grow well in the winter? this is a first for me and Im learning alot from all you fokes. thank you. one last ?,what would it cost to heat and run for veggies, I know it has to be warm, Im not sure how Im going to heat this. I have ele. and water sources next to the hoop house.

OK so nobody wants to respond to this. Let it roll on down. Vikki

I think this is a great idea. Remember that a closed environment is more susceptible to improper insect and disease treatment as well as the pests themselves. Make sure there is a good, trong agreement.

I would think most people would want a 10 by 10 area. This would give you two rows of 7 or 8 plots. So a total of about 14 plots available. This could work really well. Particularly if you do an unheated hoophouse (not greenhouse). There are many fruits and veggies that will grow well in most areas. Maybe a little cold in MI,

Paul
