What to plant with Pennisetum 'Purple Majesty'?

Any suggestions on annual (or very long blooming perennial) companion plants for Pennisetum 'Purple Majesty'?

The location is a small raised garden bed in front of my home. A very sunny, south facing, somewhat hot and dry spot, currently home to a thriving Yucca. After I plant a group of 3 millet I'll have room for 2 other plants there.

I'd like them to be under 1.5F tall so it's shorter than the Yucca. I'm hoping for something with high impact color but want to avoid anything pink (doesn't look nice with the orange brick on the house).

We planted some of this millet last year as a backdrop for red salvias. 'Purple Majesty' is a plant that goes with pretty much every flower, but does look better when breaking up medium sized annuals or perennials. Reds, oranges, yellows, and blues are all accented nicely by the deep purple.
