I'd love to hear some of your suggestions on what to plant to follow a display of tulips and forget-me-nots once their blooms die down. We have a border in front of our front porch about 5 feet deep and 30 feet wide, and it's planted with about 150-200 yellow and red tulips, with a few daffoldils thrown in, and the forgte-me-nots make a nice bed for the tulips. However, it is very barren in summer and fall. The site gets morning sun, but shade all afternoon. Curious as to what anyone else may have used to take over for the rest of the summer!
