| Does anyone know of vegetable allies or enemies for poppies (both regular and california papavers)? I have heard poppies reduce grain yields, but know of no other recommendations for or against. |

| Lettuce is suppose to be a good companion for poppies. Poppies will reduce most grain yields (except barley). Poppies tend to drain the soil of nutrients. Poppies do deter white flies and aphids. |
