parsley with tomatoes?

Did anybody have a success planting parsley between tomato bushes? Last year I planted parsley in a pot, and after parsley flowered, it reseeded itself and new parsley seedlings killed the grass around the pot and the weeds too. Will parsley and tomatoe get along fine? benefit each other or hurt each other? I will appreciate any advice.

Parsley is great with tomato plants, just one thing you should know. Swallowtail butterfly catapillars love to eat parsley, please be nice and let them, they won't hurt your tomato plants.

While walking the dog recently, I came across a bed of tomato plants, free of blight, with clumps of parsley growing around the base of the tomato plants. Our tomatos will generally begin to show signs of blight in August, and this season is no exception. I was wondering if anyone has an opinion on parsley versus tomato blight.

For the blight, which I have never had, use a compost tea with a shovel of horse manure added to the brew. The stuff kills off the molds and fungi.
