What, if any beneficials will mint draw?

I have a bed of mint within 8 feet of my nearest vegetable bed and I am wondering if it's worth weeding and watering this mint bed. I have other mint areas all around the house. Does spearmint have any benefits to the rest of the garden?

The only benefit I can think of is to attract pollinators to the area when they're in bloom.

Spearmint should also attract the beneficial insects 'Hover flies' and 'Braconid wasp'.

Unconfined plantings of mint are good for attracting forks and spades.
