Three More Sets of Combos

I know I just posted, by my mind got to going and I thought of three more combinations:

Blue forget-me-nots

White candytuft, evergreen

Lilac creeping Phlox

Yellow evening primrose

Burgundy Lupines as a backdrop

Blue asters (mixed in the primrose area)

Pink Dianthus

Blue Gentiana

Anyone done these? Anyone have any thoughts about these? I haven't done them yet, just thinking about them. All the combinations listed have the same growing conditions. That part I know, I just don't know about bloom times or unthought of aspects?

Candytuft and Myosotis are blooming right now here in zone 6 Boston. Those 2 would look good together. I assume you mean Myosotis? Did you know that there are 3 completely different unrelated species of Forget-me-nots? Mysotis "European FMN" (biennial), Brunnera (perennial), Cynoglossom "Chinese FMN" (annual).

Actually, the Myosotis and Candytuft didn't do well together. I think they were too much alike. The Candytuft that looked good was contrasted against a bigger bloom.

Love your pictures!!!
I got a digital camera for christmas, so once I get all the technical stuff worked out I should be able to post too. Hopefully the pictures will be gorgeous rather than garish, but the combos don't always play in the garden like they do in my mind.
