Companion Plants

are dill and tomatoes incompatable?

I have access for the first time to a lovely strip of garden and would like to plant it as intensively as possible. I read somewhere (a while ago--don't remember the source) that dill and tomatoes were not a good match. Can anyone confirm or deny this? What other veggies/fruits works well with dill?

Yes you are correct, tomato and dill are NOT a good match. Dill can stunt tomato growth when it matures. Try planting parsley or Basil with your tomatoes; they are great companions together.
