A plethora of plants to companion in containers!

I have a little garden growing on my balcony in large-ish containers (18-25 gal.). These are:

Apple Tree (dwarf)

Peach (dwarf)

Blueberry

Strawberry

Sugarsnap Peas

I have also started some plants indoors in peat pellets with the intention of using them as companion plants for the above-mentioned plants or in their own containers (but still combined with other plants). As this is my first year with my own garden, I am a little confused by it all.

Some are ready to transplant and some I will be starting indoors soon. I am hoping to do crop rotation throughout the growing season, if possible.

If someone could help me make sense out of this companion planting business, that would be great.

Indoors I have started/ will start:

Chives

White bunching onion

Black Beans

Lemon Grass

Thyme

Spearmint

Lemon, Lime, and Spicy Globe Basil

Sage

Sugar Baby Watermelon

Tendergreen Cucumber

Cilantro

Tarragon

Tomatillos

Spinach

Mesclun

Oregano

Lavender

Rosemary

Carrot (not sure if I'm planting, I think I got the wrong kind)

Tomato

Flowers:

Marigold

Sweet Pea

The following aren't as important, but if you see some good combinations for them, that would be great. They are plants I started growing long before I started this container gardening project:

Peppers (already in their own pot, but could move them, about 6" tall)

Super Dwarf Cavendish (Banana- already in it's own pot as well, about 8" tall)

Clementine Oranges (seedlings- 1-2" tall)

Amaryllis (seedlings- just appeared yesterday!)

Grapefruit (still taking root)

Avocado (still taking root)

Anybody want to take this on? =)
