What's a silvery, catmint type plant?

| I was looking in a gardening magazine and fell in love with the look of silver sage (salvia argentea). It appeared tall and bushy and complimented the garden nicely. However, when I researched it, I don't think its the plant for me. What would make a nice, catmint type behaving plant but in white or silver? I like the look of lamb's ears or maybe the coloring. I think its more a silver or white spiky foliage plant I am looking for, that behaves as sage or catmint. Thanks for any ideas! Karen |

| any of the artemisias, I'd think- I have three or four, from one that looks much like 'dusty miller' to one that passes for cushion moss, it's that low and feathery. russian sage has silver/green foliage, and purpley flower spikes- but it's a sloppy little bushy thing, and can really take over. |
