Would it be okay to plant strawberries with corn?
Thanks. |

| Organic, as you can see by my name i'm new to this. But that seems like such an odd combination. How did you come up with it? |

| Corn is best companion to Good-Sunflowers, Pumpkins, Beans, Potatoes, Peas, Cucumbers, Pumpkin, Squash. But I am not sure if it will work with strawberries. |

| My corn and strawberries are happy together. Last year I planted some everbearing strawberries in the holes of the cement blocks that border my raised beds. This year as I "rotated" crops, it was that bed that I chose for the corn. Both are doing well. I encourage the strawberry runners to rest between the corn stalks where they are shaded from harsh sun and are doing well. |
