What are your favorite companion plantings with rose glow barberry? Deer resistant!

    I don't have a deer problem butI have several rose glow barberries in front of a Nellie Stevens holly. I've found this to be a good combination. I imagine the sharper needled varieties might do it???

    I like the narrow blue upright juniper. The contrast in form and color is quite striking. I dont have the tag right in from of me, but will look it up if you want.

    Garlic, Eggs and Tabasco Combine one garlic clove, one egg, 1 tablespoon Tabasco sauce and, one cup water.
    Mix in a blender. Let the concoction sit to ferment for several days. Apply fermented mixture to plants.
    Warning - This deterrent has been known to repulse humans too!

    Russian Sage looks good with Rosy Glow Barberry too.

    Gold Mound Spirea looks sharp with Rose Glow Barberry. Basically, anything with bright, light colored foliage is going to contrast well with the dark red foliage of Rose Glow Barberry.
