Companions for Dianthus 'First Love'?

I've been on the GardenWeb Forums for years and have never seen this board. I have been missing out! Anyhow, I have a new island bed that I am planning. I definitely want to include Dianthus 'First Love'. I was thinking of planting it in front of some asiatic and oriental lilies in the white/pink range. Ideas so far are Lollipop (Asiatic), Muscadet (Oriential), and/or Stargazer (Oriental). What other plants or color schemes might be good with Dianthus 'First Love'? Here are some thoughts I had (Please be gentle -- I'm a newbie!):

Moonbeam coreopsis -- I thought maybe the yellow and pink would be nice. Both are long bloomers too. If I choose this, I would change some of my lily selections to ones that also included yellow ('Tom Pouce' would be perfect -- it has pink and yellow or I could use 'Muscadet' which is white and pink along with 'Montreal' which is white and yellow)

A vivid green Heuchera or Heucheralla that blooms in pink such as Chatterbox or Pretty Polly

A purple or burgundy Heuchera or Heucheralla that bloom in pink such as Regina or Amethyst

Just some thoughts. How about other ideas? Please share and continue to inspire me! Thanks!

How about Salvia "May Night"? It is a long bloomer & the flower colors go together. Just a thought.
