Eucalyptus companion bushes

Need helpful suggestions for narrow privacy hedges/screens under a 20 yr. old eucalyptus compacta. The hedge will run along a 6 ft. high cyclone fence in a sheep pasture. The hedge/small trees will be protected from foraging sheep. Think hedgerow as I encourage wildlife. Thank you for any ideas.
