Chamaecyparis obtusa, 'Crippsii'

I started this from a cutting about 25 years ago. It's in partial shade. The ground cover is hardy Geranium and Cephalotaxus harringtonia over 20 ft. wide. (approximately 6 meters)

Thats nice,the fact that its from a cutting made all that time ago is pretty special!

Some of our larger local examples of Hinoki belong to this cultivar, the yellow portions apparently not having a noticeable dwarfing effect.
