I discussed the 'Mongolei' thing already with Jörg Kohout 2 years ago.
He said by himself that is was named under the wrong species.
Also the buds and the time of flushing new growth doesn't compare for Picea asperata...

I think I see a Pinus 'Ponderosa' and a pathiopedilum Orchid.
