The Malik Collection reached this spring 5230 conifer cultivars. Some words about the collection in the language of numbers. The San Sebastian expeditions since 2001 brought 1400 new brooms, which activity was organized by Mr. Malik. Some 500 other czech brooms and an incredible 3330 international broom collection are there.

The international collection counts some 800 european finds, all other 2500 are from the States. An almost perfect Jerry Morris, Greg Williams, Sidney Waxman, Gary Gee, Dennis Dodge, Dax Herbst, Barbara Hupp etc. sortiment and many others are in the collection.

This means that the biggest american broom collection is in Europe. The american collection is partly discovered by europeans, as Franz Etzelstorfer, Jorg Kohout in 2006. That time they visited Jerry Morris, and also made their discovering tours for rare pines as Pinus albicaulis, aristata, balfouriana, longaeva, monophylla and many others. These brooms are now first published in photos. Described in the Conifer Treasury of Austria 2.0 2012. I give you a useful link to this book, and all of you will be able to look after the new brooms. Unfortunately Franz and Jorg used american names, which are very similar to the Jerry Morris name world. The plants are beautiful, but I had to divide them from the Jerry's naming use.
