Help ID'ing a strange looking tree

Hi everyone,
My friend has a strange looking tree in her yard. We are trying to ID it so she can figure out how to care for it. I am attaching a picture of it. Aside from the pine cones on it, it also has clusters of 'brown pods' which i believe for a 'pine tree' are considered a flower . They are filled with pollen or another powdery substance. The tree also is covered in a white 'dust' or possibly pollen. It has pine cones right now and they are green and oozing a clear sticky 'sap'?

Pinus aristata (Rocky Mountains Bristlecone Pine).

The white "dust" on the needles is resin spots, which is a distinct character of this species. The cones will be mature (turn brown and open to release their seeds) in September-October; the sticky resin on them is anti-squirrel defence.
