I'm a newcomer here, but I will tell you my opinion - watching from the sidelines. I really like the gallery directly to this forum, and I welcome their presence here. (I've read about problems in the forum). Here I was to learn a lot of new varieties and plants as anywhere else. I also like to look at what the gardens are in other countries, see it all from the inside. Every day here check whether there is any new pictures again:) Thanks to all those who find the time to put your plant pictures here!
Nice plant, sure is a species I wish I could grow.
All mine croaked this year (including a nice sized species plant). Definitely not a plant for the midwest. I might try another one and hope for a not so hot year next year.
Mike, Talon Buchholz found one he named 'Mountain Lights', but I never saw such a big one as yours which is also nice stable... Please, can you show us a pic of your whole specimen? Thanks!
My previous picture of 'Bump's Blue' did not turn out properly, so I photographed it on a nice cloudy day so that its true color was evident. {{gwi:608361}}
