To see the effect of the green background, check out the first pic in Sluice's 'Town Tree' thread. See how it's now swamped. I've suggested he doesn't put them this side anymore.

Imagine if Google Images had a green background instead of white, do you think it would work? Another example is if you were to have a conifer picture mounted and framed. Would you choose a green border? Lol. Pictures should be against white or grey, first basics.
