Arboretum visit - autumn colors

On Sunday I had gone to our local Arboretum. A fabulous walk! Many of the trees names I knew, but many of the names were not present ... I'm not as good conifer varieties expert yet:) I did not want to mislead you by accident:)) Why not write a lot of names. Just ejoy!

A beautiful and tranquil place, the specimens are captured perfectly by you for us. I like the Picea obovata 'Aurea' against the calm white autumn sky.

Please always bring us you walks to such interesting places.

last pic ... is that dog carrying a golf club.. if so.. its the only good use of a golf club.. lol ..

that is one lucky dog.. all these nice walks in nature..

This place is far away from any populated areas. Far from the capital. In summer, there are more people. A little :) I like to walk here, as I can with the dog breathe fresh air and see nice old conifers. And I do not like places where there are a lot of people.

Ireena, may be some day you can create a simular Pinetum at your own property...

I am glad that you have enjoyed this tour. Soon I include a yet another trip - to our Botanical Garden. There also are no people :) Autumn .... all sitting home - warms up.

Edwin, I still bought several plants (finally - big on future) for my new Pinetum:)
