Australian pine cultivars, photos, specimens, discussion. Go! Go!

Pinus nigra 'Kroc W.B.'. A bit unusual branching habit. Medium dwarf.

'Kalous'. Might spill onto the driveway in five years, I'm OK with that for now.

Pinus nigra "Pichounet". I think pronounced: 'pitch-oh-nay'. Maybe Clement or Edwin can confirm/correct.
Photobucket

'Komet'. A narrow one.

Pinus nigra 'Pstra'

RE: Pinus nigra gallery 2011

So does 'Pstra', Nate!

Is the variegation frequent or spotty?

'Judy's Gem'. A real compact one, I think maybe cross of densiflora?

Will, I don't know about the variegation yet, that one is new to me.

Pinus nigra 'Golden Fingers'

I am not into Pinus nigra to much because of Pine Wilt Nematode infestation in this area.

This one is off the beaten path and small so I don't anticipate any problems.

Pinus nigra 'Hornibrookiana'

TJ is that nigra x densiflora like so many others?(and is there a reason for this?)

-Will

 o
RE: Pinus nigra gallery 2011

Yes, I believe it's crossed with densiflora. Like 'Jane Kluis'. Why so many? They look good. ;-)
