Thought you all might like to see an image of the Pseudolarix I planted this spring. Am hopeful to have many years to enjoy the great golden color!

Looks like you bought a nice sized specimen. As to be expected, great fall color. Pseudolarix colors up much earlier than my other deciduous conifers, and normally drops its leaves just as the true larches are starting to show color.

Yes, it was a very tall thin specimen I got in Cleveland, Ga. They purchased it from one of the nursery's in Eastern Tenn.

I had one given me do great on a clay-like soil. I figured it would like the spot, with creeping buttercups indicating moisture and fertility. Unfortunately, it's roots were badly bound at planting so I took it down after growing it for some years as a temporary feature.
