That's a great idea! I feel sorry for animals in winter too, it must be so tough. I'm sure all the treats will be appreciated.

there are a lot of us.. who do not feel sorry for the deer and rabbits that invade our gardens ....

so i note.. you did leave for the forest.. and did not do this in your own garden.. good thinking!!!!

the orange adds an interesting color to the festivities.. but i would think that the local fauna.. is not really aware of what citrus is.. lol ... though many do have a sweet tooth ....

the kids ate half.. hmmmmm... i should have thought of this long ago ... it was worth the effort on that reason alone ... maybe you can work some broccoli in next year.. lol ..

Lovely!!! Funny thing about the orange-halves... I just used one (empty) to unblock a kitchen-sink by giving it a good thump...and it worked!!!
