Yes, thank you. It's certainly not a Picea jesoensis. But it's a japanese picea maybe Picea glehni. I hope advice from Resin. Clément |

| Not sure what to make of it; I don't think P. glehnii, as I can't see any suggestion of the dense pubescence on the shoots that has. I'd not be surprised if it was a hybrid of some sort. Is its origin known? Resin |

| It came from Stanley about 4 years ago. Trying to communicate with him in email correspondence as busy as he is would be out of the question. I'll just leave it as is. Kind of interesting in it's own right. His description of the conifer are right on as to its appearence here. Dave |

| Other photos and brief comments are on the web. Two different pages show a leader having developed and produced a tree shape. |

| A leader could easily be trained on this one but not knowing where it is going as far as height/width I am reluctant. Dave |

Picea glehnii Picea glehnii foliage.
Today,I photographied my Picea glehnii for comparison, and I think it's similar, maybe not very the same but the colour of twigs,needles,buds... And it's not the first time of some Picea glehnii cultivar are named jesoensis. Clément |
