Prepping yard for camellia, etc

I have been wanting to prep my yard for camellias and other like plants/shrubs. I had 3 Allee Elms planted, along with a few camellias and have come to the realization that they will need to be removed and replaced with pine trees. The elms were planted around the third week of October 2014, so shouldn't be a huge ordeal having them removed. Someone mentioned I need Loblolly pines, but also have a larger backyard than front yard (powerlines at the front of my lot). I believe a loblolly could be planted without interfering, but would also like a specimen Magnolia (not sure which type although I hear some draw hummingbirds). Figured i would ask those in the know this time. The nice gentleman who mentioned the Loblolly will likely pop his head in here (I hope).
